Fuller lips without needles: 4 beauty tricks that really work

Tricks for plumper lips
Make-up is the perfect tool to highlight parts of your face and give yourself a more beautiful complexion and appearance. That’s not to say that we wouldn’t look beautiful without it, but many of us really like to apply make-up and then look at the results in the mirror. We’ve put together some simple tricks to help your lips look fuller. No needles, no expensive treatments, just super beauty tricks!

1. Lip prep
The first and most important step is to exfoliate your lips. It’s not just our skin that needs exfoliating or exfoliating every week, but our lips too. If you don’t have a lip scrubber at home, a toothbrush will do the trick. Wet and rub it over your lips
2.
Moisturising your lips is just as important as nourishing the rest of your body. Without it, it’s no use putting on lipstick anyway, but it’s also important to use a lip moisturiser for a fuller effect.

3. Combination of lip liner and lip gloss
Go for a shade darker than your lip colour. Make the contour higher than usual, but don’t overdo it. Then use a sheer lip gloss for the perfect effect. It’s best to choose a lip plumper. If you feel the contour is too strong, blend a little with your fingers before applying the lip gloss.
4. Play with the light!
Using a highlighter or even a very low coverage, light concealer can highlight your lips. Remember that light highlights areas while shadow depresses them (which is why you contour your face the way you do). Once you’re done lip glossing, take out a very fine highlighter and apply it to the cupid’s bow using your fingers.
